YOU ARE WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF FAMILIES OF FALLEN SERVICEMEN IN NIGERIA
…we know you care about them as much as we do, and that is what makes us partners…
Foundation for Families of Fallen Servicemen is a non-profit organization founded to address the welfare challenges facing indigent families of security operatives who die in the line of duty in Nigeria. The Foundation believes that in return for the sacrifices of military and paramilitary members of the armed services of the federation who die defending our national sovereignty against internal and external aggression, the families they leave behind deserve our support to live confident and productive lives.

THE REALITY OF THEIR EXPERIENCE
Until you meet some of the families left behind by security operatives who die in the line of duty in Nigeria, and witness the reality of the devastating blow the loss had dealt on them, you may never be able to appreciate what it means to take the bullet for your country.
As BBC News Africa‘s Kunle Falayi interviews Abba Kyari in the documentary “Inside Nigeria’s Kidnap Crises“, meet Fatima Abdullahi, the widow of one of the officers who had died in anti-kidnapping operations since the creation of the Intelligence Response Team.
Narrating her ordeals, she said life has been very difficult since her “caring husband” died, that the kids have been out of school, even as their residential environment looked very unrewarding. The closing remarks of DCP Abba Kyari in this video summarizes our concerns and mission at the Foundation.
We will not rest in our efforts until we succeed at bringing lasting comforts to all the families of those who die in the line of duty in Nigeria. It is the country’s path to a stable and stronger society, and we are ready to take it.
